Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated’s Teledyne Digital Imaging unit is seeking a Senior Pixel Designer to help develop advanced CMOS/CCD image sensor pixels. You will define new pixel architectures, optimize performance, and run device and optoelectronic simulations, collaborating with internal teams and external foundries to deliver high‑reliability sensors.

Ideal candidates have a doctorate in semiconductor device physics, hands‑on TCAD and optical simulation experience, and the ability to

Qualifications

  • Doctorate with hands-on semiconductor fabrication and device characterization.
  • 3+ years with 2D/3D TCAD simulations and optical simulations.
  • DOE experience including Taguchi methods and RSM.
  • Experience in image sensor pixel design and analog interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Define new pixel architecture, layout design and process integration schemes.
  • Optimize existing pixel performance and manufacturability.
  • Perform simulations of CMOS/CCD imager pixels (device and optoelectronic).
  • Generate and evaluate pixel process and device experimental splits.
  • Interact with silicon foundries both internally and externally.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers.
