Summit Construction Advisors seeks a Piping Superintendent to lead large multifamily and commercial construction projects from planning through completion. You will direct field teams, manage schedules, materials, and trade coordination while prioritizing safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction leadership experience in mechanical, commercial, industrial, or large-scale environments.
• Construction Superintendent certification and applicable trade licenses/certifications preferred
• Advanced knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, sequencing, and field operations

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from planning through completion including new builds, expansions, renovations, and facility improvements.
• Manage daily field operations, project schedules, manpower planning, materials, equipment, and trade coordination
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to field teams and direct reports
• Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedules and milestones
• Monitor progress, budgets, earned value, and forecast completion
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, quality standards, and requirements
• Drive jobsite safety and enforce safety procedures
• Utilize Lean construction principles including pull planning and look-ahead schedules
• Support budgeting through labor forecasting, takeoffs, estimating, and change orders
• Identify and resolve productivity, scheduling, and coordination challenges
• Partner with project management, engineering, purchasing, QC, and internal teams
• Lead pre-construction meetings to align scope, schedule, and expectations
