Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions seeks a Senior Piping Designer to join its team. The role involves leading piping design activities, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring adherence to project and industry standards across assigned scopes and budgets.

Responsibilities include piping layout, material selection, and analyses, with travel to client sites as required. Strong PDMS, Navisworks, and MS Office skills are essential for success in a multi-office environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of piping/mechanical experience in chemical/industrial environments.
• Proficiency with 3D piping software (PDMS preferred) and 2D MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Experience navigating 3D models with Navisworks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design, specification and services for piping systems and layouts, including material selection, line classes, components, and analyses.
• Lead a team of designers on multiple projects as needed.
• Manage budget, schedule, and quality of the piping group on assigned projects.
• Assist in piping reviews of project packages and assess work scopes for new projects.
