Job summary

Bahnson Mechanical Systems, a long-standing mechanical contractor and part of EMCOR Group, is seeking a Pipefitter Foreman to lead our on-site team on industrial, life sciences, and mission-critical projects.

You will lay out piping systems, supervise crew members, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on every task. Competitive pay, strong benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial process pipefitting experience.
• 3+ years of leading construction teams.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with stainless-steel and/or carbon process piping systems.
• Ability to fit, solder, and layout piping systems.
• Experience using electrical and manual tools with a focus on safety.
• Strong teamwork and ability to prioritize with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers to establish job schedules and priorities.
• Communicate work schedules and priorities to on-site personnel.
• Conduct daily inspections of assigned projects.
• Complete and submit all required documentation.
• Lay out of pipe systems, supports or related equipment according to blueprints.
• Installation of industrial process piping systems.
• Assemble pipes, fittings, and equipment by welding, brazing, soldering or threading.
• Inspect or test installed systems using pressure gauge or hydrostatic testing.
• Cut or bore holes in structures prior to pipe installation.
• Utilize blueprints to plan layout and procedure.
• Compile lists of material and equipment needed for project.
• Maintain assigned tools and issued safety equipment.
• Supervise and support crew members on projects.
• Complete as-built drawings at end of projects.
• Follow all policies and safety documentation.
• Monitor jobsite to ensure a safe work environment and report safety violations.
