Job summary

Bahnson Mechanical Systems, part of EMCOR Group, seeks a Pipefitter Foreman to lead our team on multiple projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive commercial pipefitting experience, blueprint proficiency, and strong leadership to guide the crew safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes coordinating schedules, performing daily site inspections, and ensuring high safety and quality standards across industrial, life sciences, and mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial process pipefitting experience.
• 3+ years of leading construction teams.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with supervising installation of stainless-steel and/or carbon process piping systems.
• Ability to fit, solder, and layout piping systems.
• Previous use of electrical and manual tools required.
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Experience working in a team environment with high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction or project managers to establish job schedules and priorities
• Communicate work schedules, job priorities, etc., to on-site personnel
• Conduct daily inspections of assigned projects
• Complete and submit all required documentation
• Lay out of pipe systems, supports or related equipment according to blueprints
• Installation of industrial process piping systems
• Assemble pipes, fittings, and related equipment by welding, brazing, soldering or threading
• Inspect or test installed systems using pressure gauge or hydrostatic testing
• Cut or bore holes in structures prior to pipe installation
• Utilize blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedure
• Compile lists of material and equipment needed for project
• Maintain assigned tools and safety equipment
• Supervise and support crew on projects
• Complete as-built drawings at end of projects
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Monitor jobsite to ensure a safe work environment
