Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a senior lead designer to supervise a team of designers, delivering mechanical and piping work across complex projects. You will drive technical direction, estimate costs, and ensure quality while meeting schedules.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in mechanical/piping drafting, holds an engineering technology degree or CAD-related certification, and can provide mentorship and coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD preferred.
• SPED Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of designers and provide technical direction.
• Deliver mechanical and piping deliverables on time and within performance budget.
• Mentor subordinates and coordinate with discipline leads.
• Produce installation specifications and supporting calculations.
• Lead design staff to meet scope, schedule and budget objectives.
