Job summary

Aquatech in Hartland, Wisconsin is seeking a Pilot Chemist to join our laboratory team. The Pilot Lead will oversee pilot operations, conduct analytical testing, and collaborate with Engineering to optimize processes and ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate has a science degree, strong attention to detail, safety-minded habits, and experience with common lab instruments. Day shift, full-time role requiring clear communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, environmental science or related field OR AS with strong science coursework
• Experience with bench-top inorganic chemistry analytical procedures is a plus
• Leadership and ability to follow detailed lab procedures and safety sheets

Responsibilities

• Oversee pilot operation and laboratory testing to meet performance indicators
• Operate pilot systems, record process measurements, and perform analytical testing
• Train lab technicians and assist with training materials
• Maintain cleanliness and proper labeling of all containers
