Job summary

AbsoluteCare in Columbus, OH seeks a Lead Physician, Primary Care to drive team-based collaborative care and population health for medically complex and socially vulnerable members.

You will lead an interdisciplinary care pod, mentor physicians and APPs, partner with the Medical Director on clinical guidance, and serve as AbsoluteCare's ambassador to community organizations and payer partners.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of employment.
• Clinical and administrative experience leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience with training and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent primary care to a panel of members with chronic conditions and post-hospital needs.
• Lead an interdisciplinary care team and coach other providers on best practices.
• Serve as clinical leader alongside the Medical Director and guide nurses and staff.
• Engage with community organizations, hospital systems, and payer partners to meet quality goals.
• Dedicate significant time to direct clinical care while maintaining population health responsibilities.
