Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of West Valley in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide the PT team, manage scheduling and staff orientation, and ensure top-quality patient care through effective leadership and policy implementation.

You will provide direct patient care, foster strong patient relationships, and contribute to a collaborative hospital environment that supports professional growth and community health in the region.

Qualifications

• State license or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program. Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in the daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with the physical therapy staff and hospital departments.
• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
