Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas seeks a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan and implement targeted treatment programs for individual patients and to provide leadership to Physical Therapy staff. Location: COPC: C.V. Roman.

Requirements include a degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program, Texas licensure (or temporary licensure), current Healthcare Provider CPR, and at least two years of PT experience. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
• Must have two years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Must have current licensure with the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or temporary licensure in Texas.
• Must have a current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card prior to hire and/or placement in job from one of: American Heart Association, American Red Cross Rescuer, Military Training Network.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients.
• Provides leadership to Physical Therapy professional and support staff in addition to clinical duties.

Education

Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program
