Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Physical Therapist II to evaluate patients across a broad range of diagnoses, develop plans of care, and educate patients and families. This experienced therapist mentors staff and serves as a clinical resource while contributing to quality metrics.

The PT II collaborates with the interprofessional team to ensure safe, effective care, manages a dynamic caseload, supports department goals, and participates in process improvements and training opportunities within HM.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist or completion of HM residency.
• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
• Licensed Physical Therapist with Texas license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care for a broad range of diagnoses.
• Educate patients and families; mentor and resource to staff and students.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to achieve patient goals and improve care quality.
