Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy or higher
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends

Responsibilities

• Engages in LEAN process improvement.
• Documents in EMR to improve interdisciplinary communication and continuity of care.
• Performs clinical responsibilities with age-appropriate patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Oversees PTAs, students and support personnel professionally.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation per policy (evaluations, treatment, progress, discharge).
• Educates patients and families and involves them in plan of care.
• Captures revenue using CPT and CDM codes; ensures proper authorization and billing.
• Promotes performance improvement within Rehabilitation and Independence Health.
• Collaborates with patients, families and health team for excellence in care.
• Participates in development of new therapy programs and ongoing professional development.
