Mercy Rehabilitation Department is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and design comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes direct supervision of patients and supervision of rehabilitation technicians, in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Education consists of a Bachelor, MS in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy, with current/state licensure and BLS certification.

Competenze

• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; certifications must be current before caring for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience preferred in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy; experience with adult/geriatric patients is a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy Service Standards and department policies; contribute to mission and values.
• Collaborate with therapy leadership and other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
