POSITION SUMMARY:
Lead Physical Therapist (LPT) is responsible for evaluating, planning, educating, utilizing exercises and physical therapy modalities in the treatment and rehabilitation of persons who have medical problems, health-related conditions, or a developmental disability that limits their ability to move or perform functional activities. Physical Therapists also help prevent conditions associated with loss of mobility and promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability to help individuals achieve healthy and active lifestyles. Assist in program management and development responsibilities. Some travel may be required in the provision of services between facilities and job functions. This position summary contains the most relevant duties and responsibilities and does not exclude other assignments not mentioned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to travel to facilities as needed.
Membership in a professional organization preferred.
Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training, and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
