POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Physical Therapist (LPT) is responsible for evaluating, planning, educating, and utilizing exercises and physical therapy modalities in the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with medical problems, health conditions, or developmental disabilities that limit mobility or functional activities. The Physical Therapist also helps prevent conditions associated with loss of mobility, promotes movement, reduces pain, restores function, and prevents disability to help individuals achieve healthy and active lifestyles. The role includes assisting in program management and development responsibilities. Some travel may be required between facilities and for various job functions. This summary highlights the primary duties and responsibilities but is not exhaustive.
