Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a Lead Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time position in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. The role supports a growing team with opportunities for professional development and advancement within Enhance Therapies family.

Responsibilities include supervising PT assistants, coordinating patient care with licensed PTs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to apply.
• ATPA-accredited PTA program degree is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
• Act as a leader/mentor in your discipline.
• Assume rehab supervisor responsibilities in their absence.
