SciPlay is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for Gold Fish Casino Slots. This hands-on leadership role requires deep PHP expertise and a talent for balancing technical priorities with delivery.

You will mentor engineers, set coding standards, and contribute code across a PHP backend and admin tooling stack, including Vue.js and jQuery on the frontend. You’ll partner with leadership on roadmaps, make tradeoffs, and ensure reliability and performance in a high-traffic, live-service gaming

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience on a production system.
• Deep PHP knowledge including Composer and DI containers.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical work.
• Ability to balance technical depth with delivery pace.

Responsibilities

• Set technical standards and roadmap with engineering leadership.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and review code for quality and clarity.
• Write production PHP code and improve the admin tooling stack.
