Job summary

Zynga is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a distributed team across Austin, Chicago, San Mateo, or Toronto. You will contribute to core slot machine gameplay, UI/UX, and server features, collaborating with a skilled cross-functional group on challenging problems.

The role emphasizes Unity/C# development, backend work (PHP preferred), and building tools for engineers and content creators while maintaining strong communication and teamwork in a live games environment.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Unity and C# for game features.
• Experience with a server backend (PHP preferred).
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Solid data structures, algorithms and software methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop features and slot game functionality in Unity with C#, and on the server backend (PHP preferred).
• Dig into slot engine internals to extend them as needed.
• Develop tooling for engineers and content creators.
• Define tasks and scope for systems; triage and fix bugs quickly.
