Job summary

Cactus Materials is seeking a Senior Photonics Test Development Engineer in Tempe, AZ to design, develop, and deploy automated test solutions for VCSEL arrays, edge-emitting lasers, and photodetector arrays in high-volume production.

Industrial experience in high-volume photonics manufacturing is required; you will build test plans, write software, and contribute to data analytics and quality processes.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in the industry with at least 3 years in volume photonics manufacturing testing.

Responsibilities

• Understand and communicate product test requirements for laser and photodetector arrays.
• Develop, deploy, and improve automated production test solutions for VCSEL arrays and photonic devices.
• Write and maintain software for automated test systems for engineering and production use.
