Job summary
Thorlabs is seeking a Photonic Instrumentation Product Line Manager (PLM) to own the benchtop instrumentation portfolio across multiple BUs. You will drive roadmaps, product strategy, and lifecycle management while collaborating with engineering, marketing, and sales to align on market opportunities and revenue growth.
The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, market analysis, and a proven track record in photonics or optical instrumentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in physics, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- MS or PhD preferred for advanced roles.
- Experience in photonics or optical instrumentation is essential.
Responsibilities
- Own and steer the Benchtop Instrumentation portfolio across BUs.
- Define roadmaps, lifecycle management, and product rationalization.
- Lead market analyses and identify growth opportunities with Sales and Applications teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
