Job summary

The role requires completing an accredited phlebotomy program, HS diploma or GED, and BLS/ACLS certification. Experience with Epic Beaker is a plus, and you will contribute to quality assurance and patient service.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS or ACLS certification required or up to date.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples by venipuncture or capillary puncture with minimal patient discomfort.
• Label and transport specimens accurately and timely.
• Assist in training new phlebotomy staff.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
• Support QA/QC and process-improvement efforts.
