Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of training program in venipuncture or medical assisting.
• 2+ years of venipuncture experience with competency in specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for adequate staffing and on-time blood collections.
• Monitors workflow and distributes venipuncture/clerk assignments as workload requires.
• Maintains personnel records, orientation materials, and staff competency assessments.
