Job summary
PharMerica is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in Columbus to oversee daily operations in a closed-door LTC pharmacy environment, ensuring accurate dispensing and compliant workflows.

Qualifications
- Required: HS diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in an LTC pharmacy setting.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Basic understanding of drugs and medication terminology.
- Ability to operate a computer and pharmacy software.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and trains Pharmacy Technicians.
- Monitors workflow and reassigns Pharmacy Technicians as needed.
- Prepares Pharmacy Technician schedules to meet the needs of the pharmacy.
- Fills prescription items and prepares medications for dispensing and delivery.
- Prepares various medications, including non-sterile compounding.
- Handles narcotics room duties and IV preparation as applicable.
- Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Communicates professionally with internal and external customers.
