Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, seeks a Lead Pharmacy Technician in our Back End operations to ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications for long-term care, assisted living, and chronic care customers.

You will lead the back-end team, provide performance feedback, collaborate on training, and support controlled substances programs in compliance with policies, state and federal laws.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the back-end pharmacy technician team toward primary objectives.
• Ensure proper preparation of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacist team.
• Provide regular feedback on technician performance and coordinate training plans.
• Assist in orientation, training, and education programs for controlled substances in line with laws.
