CVS Health’s Omnicare division seeks a Lead Pharmacy Technician for the Back End department. You will guide the back-end team in medication preparation, order fulfillment, and stock management to support pharmacists and ensure accurate dispensing for long-term care and chronic care patients.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations, with a strong focus on patient safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Certified/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the back-end pharmacy technician team to ensure proper preparation of medications.
• Oversee order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing, reviewing orders and bins for accuracy, and managing stock rotations.
• Provide regular feedback on technician performance and assist in training plans.
