The position requires a High School Diploma, graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program, and a WA license with 1–3 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist the Lead Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for:

• overseeing and maintaining stocks
• training technician staff
• ensuring compliance with technician duties
• performing administrative duties related to technician workflow
• ensuring efficacy and efficiency of technician workflow
• working with vendors
• updating records
• overseeing maintenance of pharmacy inventory
• revieing and ensuring technician competencies
• overseeing compliance with USP Chapter 800
• tracking compliance with technician state and federal requirements
• They also dispense medicine prescribed to patients according to the instruction of the Pharmacist and input insurance information into the computer.
• Plus, other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program.
• Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician license plus 1-3 years of clinical experience.
