Job summary

Naval Branch Health Clinic Mid-South in the DoD healthcare system seeks a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead a team of 3+ pharmacy technicians and assist pharmacists with processing and dispensing prescriptions. This Direct Hire solicitation is under DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base and MRTFB programs.

US Citizens with specialized experience in filling prescriptions, distributing pharmaceuticals, and maintaining controlled substance inventories will qualify.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes filling prescriptions, distributing pharmaceuticals, maintaining accurate inventory of controlled substances, and utilizing pharmacy based computer systems.
• A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

Responsibilities

• Lead over 3 or more pharmacy technicians to perform duties and assist pharmacists in processing and dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate inventory of controlled substances and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Utilize pharmacy computer systems to support order processing and dispensing activities.

About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Mid-South, Dir of Clinical Support, Pharmacy. Serve as leadrer over 3 or more pharmacy technincians who perform pharmacy technician duties and assist the paharmasists in the processing and dispensing of perscritoins. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation utilizing DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes filling prescriptions, distributing pharmaceuticals, maintaining accurate inventory of controlled substances, and utilizing pharmacy based computer systems. OR Education: One full academic year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, or Pharmaceutical Sciences. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
