The Lead Pharmacy Technician performs under pharmacist supervision, a variety of technical duties related to the preparing and dispensing of drugs according to standard procedures. They serve as the department's subject matter expert in all Pharmacy Technician duties, roles, and responsibilities. Additionally, the Lead Pharmacy Technician ensures accountability for daily Pharmacy Technician activities and resolves operational problems; serves as a point of contact for key stake holders; fosters and develops the Pharmacy Technician team; coordinates and provides hands‑on Pharmacy Technician training; and manages the Pharmacy Technician schedule.
