UChicago Medicine AdventHealth seeks a pharmacy technician leader to manage enterprise inventory, oversee controlled substances programs, and drive safety and continuous improvement across two infusion locations in Bolingbrook and Hinsdale, IL.

The role requires active licensure (RPhT and CPhT), 2+ years hospital pharmacy experience, and a registered tech with registration in the relevant state.

Qualifications

• Active state pharmacy technician registration required
• 2+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) and Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required

Responsabilités

• Leads enterprise-level inventory operations, including procurement processes, formulary alignment, and perpetual inventory accuracy.
• Oversees controlled substance programs, diversion prevention efforts, and compliance with DEA and institutional policies.
• Conducts advanced audits and operations reviews to advise on inventory integrity analytics, cost containment strategies, medication shortage mitigation, and supply chain resilience.
• Leads system-wide medication safety initiatives, including risk mitigation, error prevention, and safety education.
• Facilitates root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.

Covers two different locations:

1.) 396 Remington Blvd Bolingbrook Infusion

Shift: Days 730am to 4pm and 8am to 430pm, Mon-Fri, no weekends

Location: Bolingbrook Infusion 396 Remington Blvd, Bolingbrook IL, 60440

2.) 1 Salt Creek Lane Hinsdale Infusion

Shift: Days 7am to 3:30 pm, 730am to 4pm, 8am to 430pm, Mon-Fri, no weekends

Location: 1 Salt Creek Lane, Hinsdale IL, 60521
