Job summary
Express Scripts in Newark, DE is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Controls Engineer (Automation Engineer Lead Analyst) to maintain and advance highly automated pharmacy production equipment. You will lead troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and upgrades across PLC, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years maintaining or troubleshooting automated equipment.
- Experience with PLC-controlled systems, electrical/mechanical diagnostics.
- Proficient in CMMS like Maximo for work orders and history.
- Strong problem solving and collaborative skills.
Responsibilities
- Maximize performance and uptime of automated pharmacy production equipment.
- Lead troubleshooting for PLC, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Identify root causes and implement sustainable reliability improvements.
- Support installation, validation, and upgrades of automation equipment.
- Utilize CMMS/Maximo to document work and track maintenance activities.
- Mentor technicians and participate in on-call rotations.
