Job summary

Azend Pharma is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team as PIC. You will receive incoming prescriptions, review them for accuracy, and fill them with the correct medicine and dose.

You will also talk with customers to help them understand their medications and possible side effects, advising on storage and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. • Must hold a current state pharmacist license.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions
• Provide information to patients on side effects, dosage, specific storage needs, and interactions with other medications
• Maintain patient records and pharmacy files
• Conduct regular inventory and maintain proper standards for accepting new inventory and categorizing it
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
