Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to be a key member of our retail pharmacy team in Roswell, NM. You will lead the pharmacy operations, oversee dispensing, counseling patients, and support immunization services to improve patient outcomes.

You will collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor team members while maintaining a patient-first approach in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Dispense prescriptions accurately with counseling and patient safety in mind.
• Support immunization services and clinical care where permissible.
• Ensure compliance with all state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Coach and develop pharmacy staff to maintain performance standards.
• Maintain safety, inventory control and proper handling of cold chain products.
