Athens Health and Rehabilitation LLC in Alabama seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide quality pharmaceutical services to long-term-care residents under the Director of Pharmacy. You will participate in workflow oversight for dispensing medications, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness in accordance with state/federal regulations.

The role emphasizes leadership, supervision, and collaboration with clinical staff to optimize therapies while maintaining compliance and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (Bachelors or PharmD) from an accredited school.
• Current, unrestricted licensure in the practicing state(s).
• 1 year of long-term-care experience preferred.
• Leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; experience with Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be at least 21 and able to speak/read/write English.
• Ability to meet physical and sensory requirements.
