Job summary

Health Direct is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical services in a long-term care facility. The role focuses on implementing standard practices to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will collaborate with facility leadership, develop procedures, and provide guidance on drug utilization, safety, and cost savings. A strong background in clinical pharmacy and QA reporting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed and registered to practice Pharmacy.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening test.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adhere to Health Direct's standard of practice to deliver high quality care.
• Coordinate pharmaceutical services within a long term care facility in collaboration with facility leadership.
• Develop and evaluate pharmaceutical services procedures with facility leadership and staff.
• Identify and resolve pharmacy-related concerns affecting resident care, quality of life, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide quarterly reports on drug utilization and management trends with recommendations.
