Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge for our Stennis Community Pharmacy in Dekalb, MS. The role oversees pharmacy operations, staff supervision, and compliance with state and federal laws to ensure safe, effective patient care.

You will manage drug purchasing, inventory, and billing processes, collaborate with pharma reps, and help develop patient education and therapy programs. A strong focus on customer service and leadership is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
Current Mississippi pharmacy license in good standing to practice.
Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with policy and law.
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
Proficient with pharmacy software and computer systems.

Responsibilities

Directly oversee all operations of the pharmacy following professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Supervise staff including hiring, training, data entry, verification and dispensing of medications.
Manage drug purchasing and inventory controls for the pharmacy.
Ensure billing and remittance documents are accurate and timely.
Maintain knowledge of therapeutics, pricing and patient assistance programs.
