Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge for our Dekalb, MS location. You will oversee all aspects of the pharmacy, supervise staff, manage purchases and inventory, and ensure accurate billing and compliance with state and federal laws.

You will engage with pharma reps, monitor therapeutics and pricing, and develop reporting dashboards. This role requires leadership, retail pharmacy experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required and licensed in Mississippi.
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
  • Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with policy and law.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service mindset.
  • Computer experience and proficiency with pharmacy software.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for management, oversight and operations of all aspects within the pharmacy.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff including hiring, training, data entry, verification and dispensing.
  • Responsible for drug purchasing and inventory controls.
  • Ensure billing and remittance documents are completed accurately and timely.
  • Meet with pharma representatives and maintain knowledge of therapeutics and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards and ad hoc reports.
  • Address HCP pharmaceutical issues and patient information questions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure compliance with laws.
  • Collaborate with other pharmacies and upper level management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
  • Current licenses in good standing to practice pharmacy in the state of Mississippi.
  • Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
  • A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
