Job summary

CorsoCare Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacist In Charge to lead dispensing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and daily operations for a closed-door LTC setting. You will oversee the team, ensure cycle fill integrity, and coordinate with Thrifty White for data entry and workflow.

This working leadership role requires a strong pharmacy background, state licensure, and mastery of LTC regulations. On-site duties, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college or university.
• Current, active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Clears OIG/LEIE, SAM, and state exclusions with background checks.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy law, DEA, HIPAA, and LTC standards.
• Preferred: PIC/leadership experience with staff oversight and inspections.
• Experience with automated packaging and dispensing technologies.
• Knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and third-party claims.

Responsibilities

• Owns licensing, regulatory compliance, and record maintenance.
• Leads board inspections, accreditation surveys, and audits; responds with corrective actions.
• Oversees controlled substances program, inventory, recalls, and CMS reporting.
• Manages pharmacy team, including hiring, scheduling, and performance.
• Ensures timely dispensing, delivery, and cycle management with partners.
