Job summary

VPI Compounding Pharmacy in Centennial, CO is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee daily operations and patient care. The role emphasizes regulatory oversight, quality, and leadership within a compounding-focused environment.

The PIC will lead staff, ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and USP standards, review prescriptions for clinical and legal accuracy, maintain essential records, manage inventory, and support audits while partnering with prescribers to

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Colorado pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of compounding pharmacy experience.
• Previous Pharmacist in Charge or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulations (Board of Pharmacy, DEA, USP).
• Leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
