Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Columbus, LLC, part of the Guardian family, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to supervise staff pharmacists and technicians, ensure timely dispensing and compliance with all state and federal laws, and maintain 797-compliance. This full-time role is based in Columbus, OH and offers leadership opportunities and competitive pay.

The role includes 75% on-floor duties, collaboration with Pharmacy Operations, and responsibility for inventory control and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD. required.
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
• 5+ years pharmacist experience preferred, preferably in high-volume pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the Staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians and manages daily production.
• Ensures workflow processes and staffing support accurate and timely prescription dispensing.
• Work as a scheduled pharmacist on the floor among the staff at least 75% of the time.
• Communicates daily with the Director, Pharmacy Operations about issues impacting production, safety, or compliance.
• Ensures compliant record keeping with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Assist Director, Pharmacy Operations in staffing/scheduling to ensure licensed coverage.
• Oversees CII ordering, inventory control, and dispensing within regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain 797-Compliance program with training and documentation.
• Evaluate workflow processes and implement efficiency/safety improvements.
• Collaborate with supervisors/functional areas to maintain workflow.
• Occasional customer relations duties and other duties as assigned.
