Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in health care pharmaceutical spending issues including cost drivers and budget impact analysis.
• Experience evaluating pharmaceutical access and patient outcomes such as formulary impact and equity considerations.
• Experience with internal and external stakeholders including state/federal agencies and private purchasers of health care.
• Experience in health care policy related issues.
• Experience reviewing state and federal laws, regulations, and policy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and guidance to PPPB, CalRx, OHCA, and departmental leadership.
• Research, evaluate, and analyze strategies to make drugs more affordable and accessible in California.
• Develop verbal and written reports and recommendations to support policy actions.
