Job summary

IEHP seeks a Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Services to lead strategy, clinical oversight, and operations of the pharmaceutical program for Medi-Cal, DSNP, and Exchange members. You will ensure evidence-based utilization management and audit readiness while driving cost containment and quality improvement.

Hybrid role based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, reporting to the VP of Pharmacy. Requires a Pharm.D., CA license, and 10+ years of leadership with PBM and regulatory expertise; MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• At least ten years leading strategic direction, operations, and financial performance of a pharmacy department.
• Senior level management of PBM across Medicare, Medi-Cal and Exchange.
• Pharm.D. from an accredited institution; California license required.
• MBA from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS, DHCS, DMHC, and NCQA pharmacy programs and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise pharmacy strategies across Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Exchange.
• Lead initiatives to improve medication adherence, outcomes, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, DHCS, DMHC, and NCQA requirements governing pharmacy benefits.
• Oversee PBM and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance programs.
• Direct pharmacy operations and clinical programs, including MTM, prior authorization, and appeals.
