Job summary

America's Heartland Packing is seeking a Rendering Lead Operator to expertly operate production equipment, interpret work specs, monitor quality, and maintain safety and efficiency on the rendering line. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and hands-on problem solving, with duties spanning setup, maintenance, records, and collaboration across departments in a fast-paced facility.

Experience in a rendering facility preferred and ability to work nights or weekends as needed.

• Minimum Qualifications: must be 18+; United States work authorization; manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities emphasize attendance, ability to work in cold/wet environments, maintain a clean area, follow direction, and work well with others.

Key Responsibilities

• Proficient in job set-ups, roll changes, end of day and end of week clean up.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

• Must be able to withstand long periods in cold, warm, or wet/damp environments.
• Maintain a clean work area.

Summary

America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.
