Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a smile, coordinating patient check in and check out. Answer phones and schedule appointments with a positive attitude.
• Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed, overseeing the schedule of staff/doctors/patients.
• Collect balances and verify insurance when needed.
• Present accurate patient treatment plans, determine insurance coverage & patient financial responsibility for procedures, assist with insurance pre-authorizations, and review finance options with patients.
• Must be proficient in periodontics coding and insurance billing.
• Perform all duties relating to supporting the office.
• Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes, communicating changes to patients and staff.
• All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years periodontics front office experience required.
• Experience with treatment plans required. Insurance verification experience required.
• Digital practice software experience, Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred.
• Willing to travel to other site locations.
