The University of Idaho seeks an Assistant Athletic Director for Performance Nutrition in Moscow to lead a comprehensive nutrition program for student-athletes. The role emphasizes education, counseling, and research while ensuring NCAA compliance and working with coaches and performance staff.

Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field, be a Registered Dietitian with Idaho LDN eligibility, and have preferred CSSD/CSCS credentials, with a strong emphasis on policy

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in nutrition science, kinesiology or exercise physiology.
• Registered Dietitian with active registration by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• LDN Certification by the State of Idaho (or eligible to apply upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a comprehensive performance nutrition program for student-athletes.
• Provide evidence-based sports nutrition education to athletes, coaches and staff.
• Direct day-to-day sports nutrition activities and address nutrition-related health issues.
• Research physiological and nutritional principles that influence athletic performance.
• Build relationships with staff, clients and students.
