Job summary

Alpha School is hiring a Performance Coach to lead Guides, build leaders, and create a culture of excellence where students consistently exceed expectations across select campuses: Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Greenwich, CT; and Washington, DC. This non-instructional role focuses on coaching, life-skills workshops, and driving student outcomes through data and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Lead life skills workshops developing communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Assist in launching new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
