Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Lead Guide to build and coach high-performing teams across select campuses, including New York City. You will develop leaders, create a culture of excellence, and ensure students consistently exceed expectations in a data-informed environment.

You will lead engaging life skills workshops, motivate students, and help launch new campuses, all while upholding uncompromising standards and driving real-world skill development for 5–14 year-olds.

Qualifications

• On-site work at Alpha campuses with relocation support.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• At least 5 years in education, coaching, learning and development, or related leadership.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational/ coaching setting.
• Experience building or launching a new team, program, or campus; willingness to open a campus from zero.
• Willingness to work in a school model rejecting traditional lecture-based pedagogy.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in self-directed programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
