Job summary

Southwest Building Solutions is seeking a PEMB Erector to safely assemble, erect, and install metal building components on projects across Arizona. You will work under a Foreman, reading drawings and following manufacturer specs to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and the ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work, with travel as needed. Join a team dedicated to high-quality construction and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of six months construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow installation instructions.
• Comfortable working at heights while utilizing required fall protection.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as the project requires.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and erect PEMB systems per drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Install roof systems, wall panels, trim, insulation, doors, windows, and related building components.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, erection plans, and installation details; assist with alignment and final assembly.
• Safely operate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, and other equipment; perform daily inspections.
• Maintain quality workmanship and ensure installed components meet layout and installation requirements; participate in punch lists and inspections.
• Work with Foreman and crew to meet project schedules, promote safety, and support teamwork.
