Job summary

The Medical Director of Kidney Transplant will serve in a key leadership role within the Division of Nephrology at Children’s National Hospital. The faculty physician will deliver high-quality clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings while advancing research, education, quality improvement, and advocacy initiatives in collaboration with the Division Chief and Center leadership.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school
• Knowledge of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment
• Complies with legal/ethical standards for medical care
• Experience leading a division or program in academia
• Active participation in transplant candidate evaluation
• Expertise in pediatric kidney transplant management
• Immunosuppressive therapy management and growth impact
• Post-operative management and allograft care

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
