Job summary

TeamHealth has a premier opportunity at El Paso Children’s Hospital ED seeking a lead acute care or pediatric nurse practitioner. You’ll oversee a team of APCs, deliver pediatric emergency care and receive strong leadership support in a hospital with a busy pediatric ED.

Qualifying candidates will be board-certified NP in ACNP/AGACNP or PPCNP, with 2+ years in pediatrics, current ACLS/PALS, and Texas license/DEA or eligibility. Comprehensive benefits and CME opportunities accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Board-certified ACNP/AGACNP or PPCNP (ANCC)
• Prefer 2+ years in pediatrics
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of APCs
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Texas medical license and DEA or eligibility before start

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of APCs in the ED to deliver pediatric emergency care.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff and physicians.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to maintain high-quality patient care and outcomes.
