Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinicians in a busy outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include data collection, rooming patients, check-in, scheduling, and helping manage prescriptions and registrations.

The LPN may serve as the clinical Lead and collaborate with Medical Assistants to ensure smooth patient flow, accurate charting, and timely care delivery. A valid LPN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license.
• BLS certification required or must be obtained.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates or vocational degree from an approved LPN program.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with rooming, check-in and scheduling.
• Assist with prescription management and outpatient records.
• Register patients and answer patient concerns.
• Maintain and update outpatient medical records.
• May serve as clinic Lead and mentor Medical Assistants.
